Simple scripts to convert FLAC to MP3, WMA to MP3, and MP4 to MP3 are available in the downloads section. However, as one astute viewer pointed out, the ‘SoundKonverter’ application for KDE does all this and preserves metadata, so it may be a better idea to use those. Nonetheless I have posted the ugly scripts I once wrote for those purposes (because I said I would). Click below to get to the presentation and the scripts.
